A word about sending Cards and Gifts
We are used to the US Mail and the regularity and timeliness of delivery. Although countries in Africa are improving in these areas, it still takes significant time for delivery across the ocean. In the weeks ahead we will refine this information with costs and more accurate times, but for now this will help. Remember, it is always nicer to receive a card (especially when away from your home country for 4 years at a stretch) as opposed to an "E-Card". So take the extra effort and cost and brighten up their day. With Gifts, we will probably need to work together to save on the high cost of postage. We will advertise in the worship folder the upcoming birthday and some suggestions for gift items. We will only be able to send boxes a bit larger than a shoe box because of the cost. So we will need gifts and money to send these packages. Stay tuned......
