Our Partnership With The Hulls

Toby and Kiersten Hull and their kids (Kenna, Colby, Laura, and Lucas), serve as missionaries in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Our commitment as a church is to support the Hulls as they have been sent out to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the peoples of Burkina Faso. Over the past 25 years in the life of this church, we have built a heritage with missions that we do not want to relinquish, but rather to enrich.

Adopting The Hulls

On Sunday June 5th, 2005 we officially adopted Toby and Kiersten Hull as our Global Missions Family. In adopting them into our family we have covenanted with them to carry our responsibility in the following areas: Prayer, Encouragement, Giving, and Learning. The Adoption Commitment we made with the Hulls, expresses our promises and responsibilities as our adoptive family. Committing to adopt is a conscious act of our will.

Therefore: We willingly enter a new level of involvement in our commitment, 'Becoming a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ, reaching others with the transforming power of His word'. We commit to support your whole family as you faithfully serve in Burkina Faso, growing in our interest in your ministry. We commit to support you in prayer; regularly, and as urgent needs become known. We commit to support you through correspondence, encouraging you to remain faithful. We commit to support you in giving to your financial support. We commit to support you by looking for new ways to uphold and encourage you and your family. All for the glory of God.

Encouraging The Hulls

Support Giving:
Our goal as a church is to faithfully support the Hulls every year, plus encouraging them in other ways. Your giving to the Hulls GCF will see that they can continue to minister in Burkina Faso. We have several ways to tangibly show our love to Toby and Kiersten. Join with us as we seek to encourage them in these ways.

Prayer Support:
This is an often overlooked way that we can stand with our missionaries. As you get to know them, and as you read their letters you will learn of the many things that you can be praying for them.

  • Pray for safe travel as they minister in Burkina Faso.
  • Pray for the kids as they do their schooling in French.
  • Pray that Toby and Kiersten will have wisdom as they minister with the local people.
  • Pray for good health and safety.
Christmas Fun:
Christmas can be lonely as family and friends are here in the US. This is a perfect time to demonstrate our commitment to the Hulls. Send them a card this Christmas!

Birthday's and Anniversaries:
Cards, Letters, Email: The cost to send a card of encouragement is extremely low. Only 98 cents for a normal card. Create time to just drop a note and let Toby and Kiersten know you are thinking of them. If you want to email Toby and Kiersten for Encouragement, just ask Pastor Jonathan and he will email you their address.

Burkina Faso is over 6,000 miles away from us. That means that cards, letters, and packages take a while to arrive.
